Painting On Canvas fabric, Canvas Tote Bags, Tote Bags, DIY Painting

Good Afternoon Everyone, Today I just wanted to do a Post on Painting on Canvas Tote Bags, It is really a lot of fun, and it doesn't have to be a hard time consuming project. First of all, Step 1.go to your favorite hobby & craft store and purchase a Tote bag, Apron, or anything you may want to paint on. Step 2.you will want to wash your item before painting on it, when you dry the item, don't use fabric softener, I am not sure if that is a must or not, I just don't use softener sheets. Step 3. either free hand your design onto your purchased item, or you can use a iron on transfer pencil, trace the design you are using with the pencil, then iron onto your item Step 4. you will need to purchase some textile medium, to mix with your acrylic paints Step 5. if you are painting on a tote bag, I always put a piece of cardboard in the bag, so the paint doesn't bleed through to the back of the bag, also if it is an apron or something similar, also use cardboard under your project. Step 6. Begin painting, following the directions on the bottle of textile medium, TEXTILE MEDIUM turns any acrylic paint into FABRIC PAINT Step 7. After you have finished all of the base coats of color, let your project dry before you go any further, when dry you can add any amount of detail you may want, I always add highlights & shadows in this step. Step 8. after you have painted all you are painting, let you project dry, I let it dry for a few day's, then I turn my project inside out, and Iron back & forth for a few minutes on a hot setting on my iron, to set the paint, not to hot. Step 9. Now you have an amazing project for yourself, or as a gift for someone you love. I am showing two Canvas tote bags & two child size aprons, I have completed to share with you. Hope you have an Amazing Day & Happy Painting
